North Shore Needleworks

North Shore Needleworks is a needlepoint-only, "bricks and mortar" shop owned by Carol and Jim Jakimow and located in the little town of Northbrook, north of Chicago.

We specialize in a large assortment of threads (in complete color lines) and a huge collection of canvases and charts. Silk threads, in all their glory, are a favorite with us and we carry many lines.

Our aim is to give you superior service. We fill and ship your order same-day whenever possible and promptly order in what is out of stock or a special order. This website, like our lives, is a work in progress. We began with canvases and intend to continue with threads and accessories.
