Services

Personal Assistance--We will cheerfully help you select threads/embellishments for any canvas, from any source, at no charge. We will create a Thread & Stitch Guide for any NSN canvas for a fee (depending on size and complexity). Due to time constraints, we cannot offer this service for canvases from other sources. Should you need help with stitch selection or desire to learn a stitch/es, we offer Private Lessons ($20/hour) for any canvas. If we are kitting a canvas without your input here in the shop, please let us know of any thread preferences--both those you like especially and those you wish us to avoid.

NSN is pleased to offer excellent framing services for pictures and boxes. We carry a large selection of frame, fillet, and matte corners so that you may choose just the look you want. Our framer specializes in needlepoint and offers shaped mattes, cut-outs, and archival framing. Framing services generally take about two weeks.

We use many stitchers from all over the country, depending upon their expertise with a certain item. Time requirements vary, but eight weeks is the norm. If you have a specific deadline, please let us know up front so that we can determine with the finisher if it can be met.

You do not need to supply fabric or other materials for finishing unless you have specific fabric. Most finishers will accept your fabric as long as it is clean and sufficient to complete the project. Finishers do not offer lower prices because you sent fabric to be used, and some will not accept slippery, stretchy, or upholstery-weight fabrics.

We want you to be happy with your finishing, so we ask many questions about your preferences. Please don't hesitate to give us any additional direction.
